Good Karma LA x BPSHI

Outreach Event

Together with Good Karma LA, BPSHI helped hand out 500 hot meals, 500 water bottles, 500 granola bars, and 500 hydration packets to our houseless community members in Skid Row. Through our collaboration and outreach with the Good Karma team we practiced our principle of seva, and provided mutual aid to our community who needed it. We plan on continuing our collaboration with Good Karma and establish a stable and positive presence within the greater LA, providing care and compassion to those in

Card Game Night

BPSHI Social

Our card game night was more than just fun and games, but rather an opportunity for members to join us, come together, relax and build meaningful connections especially with a little friendly competition. We believe in the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere where all members feel comfortable and our card game night was exactly that. It was a chance to break the ice, laugh and forge unforgettable bonds with peers.

Clinic Training

Clinic Prep

BPSHI clinic prep is an integral part of our mission, that is required for all members if they intend on participating in a clinic setting. It is a proactive step that ensures our commitment to high-quality healthcare services. It holds our team responsible for being well-equipped, organized, and ready to offer the best and proper that everyone deserves.

Eliminating Disparities in Health Care

Professional Development

This event addressed health care disparities, which helped our members reevaluate what we initially may have thought. This is a part of our commitment to empowering our members to advocate for patient rights by unlearning our initial biases. We navigated complex health care issues, analyzed research, and even proposed potential solutions. This is just our first step in ensuring healthcare becomes a universal right, and eventually establishing health equity.

Inter-BPSHI Beach Day

Inter-BPSHI Social

At BPSHI we believe in cultivating a strong sense of community especially amongst our peers. As a part of Pan-BPSHI we joined with fellow BPSHI chapters in SoCal for a memorable beach day that was not only a chance to unwind and become familiar with another but also expand our social and professional networks with like-minded individuals.
